ECHO and EV71 are enteric pathogenic viruses. Severe infections can lead to serious complications such as encephalitis and myocarditis, and may even be life-threatening.

IgM antibodies against ECHO typically emerge 5–10 weeks post-infection, while those targeting EV71 usually appear 3–7 weeks after infection.

1. It simultaneously covers two highly pathogenic enteric viruses, enabling rapid differentiation between single and co-infections, eliminating missed diagnoses and misdiagnoses, and facilitating prompt aetiological confirmation.

2. It achieves early detection and early intervention of infections, providing early warnings for EV71 cases at high risk of developing severe illness.

3. It precisely meets the diagnostic and therapeutic needs of high-risk susceptible groups to enteric viruses such as infants and young children, offering pivotal support for accurate disease typing, personalised treatment and condition monitoring of related disorders, and thus improving overall diagnostic and therapeutic efficiency.
